  • description

  • Shenzhen, located just north of Hong Kong in southwest China, was one of the first and most successful Special Economic Zones -areas with special fiscal dispensation to promote economic growth. The huge amount of investment that subsequently flooded into the region inevitably led to an architectural boom. This book is an in-depth architectural study of an area that has seen incredible changes in the past few years -to its streets, centers and skyline -featuring photography, maps and plans to provide the reader with a comprehensive overview of an evolving city.
